3 Publishing Questions To Ask
Hello and welcome back.
Today I would like to give you as the title suggests 3 questions to ask before you hit publish.
- Is the book professionally edited and free of typos?
This is critical as many people will give a negative review for spelling errors and typos. The reason being is that a lot of readers will think “I’m paying my hard earned money to buy your book, the least you can do is show some effort to get rid of spelling mistakes.”
2. Is the book formatted correctly
Another critical step is formatting. This is important as you want the book to appear correctly in the different e-readers such as a kindle, or any of the kindle apps for desktops, tablets and smart phones.
3. Do people know you are publishing your book?
Another critical step. You don’t want your book to disappear into the forgotten digital realms of whatever place you publish your book. So make sure you let all your friends know your book is coming out. Many will buy just to support a friend.
If your workplace allows you to mention that you’re publishing a book on their internal intranet, do that too.
Another idea is to put that you are an author of such and such a book in your email signature with a link to your book.
I hope these ideas help, have a great dya.
