Flight suggestion

It was just a suggestion Arlene had made to Max. To get over his fear of flying that he should go to flight school. Not so great a suggestion now with the plane in three pieces on top of the mountain. The flight instructor dead and Max the only one alive.

Not knowing how to fix the smashed radio his only hope now is that when the plane doesn’t return as scheduled that they send out a search party before the winter storm hits. And it’s going to pack a wallop. Up to three feet of snow – a weather bomb they call it.

Perhaps the emergency locator beacon will get them to him quickly. And when they check the black box they’ll find out why the plane crashed. It always struck Max as somewhat weird that they would make a black box for the plane out of indestructible material, why not make the whole plane out of the same stuff?

It would make logical sense. But like the comment in Start Trek 4 made, whoever said the human race was logical?
