Interview With Eddie Stiles
Hello and welcome back.
Today is another character interview, this time with Eddie Stiles. If you remember from the first book, No Remorse No Regret, he is the ex-boyfriend of Melissa. They dated in college when they were in drama/acting school together. And in the short story gift, Melissa In Training which, if you haven’t subscribed to my list yet is available here
Danil forces Melissa to break up with him as part of her repayment to him for rescuing her. So, here’s the interview:
IW: Well Eddie, how’s the show going?
Eddie: If you mean the TV version of You’ve Got Mail, it’s currently on hiatus, so I went to Vegas where I’ll be shooting a TV movie. A quick little three week pay check before I have to go back to the TV series.
IW: You had dated Melissa for a time.
Eddie: Did you really have to bring that up? Every guy’s got that one special girl. That’s what she was to me. So sweet and cute and cuddly. I don’t think I’ll ever get over her.
IW: Aren’t there, as the saying goes, plenty of fish in the sea?
Eddie: Yeah, I suppose, but Ahab had his whale didn’t he? And my girl, Melissa, I still think of her as my girl, even though it’s been over ten years, she’s the one who had the biggest hold on my heart. That’s why it’s so difficult to let her go. I know I should, but she was something so special. She was destined for big things, I bet she’d be the biggest star in Hollywood if she hadn’t thrown everything away, including me.
IW: And what was your reaction when you saw her testifying against the Russian Mafia?
Eddie: What do you think? My little lady Melissa, was a cold blooded killer. Hard, no, impossible believe. I had to hit myself several times to make sure I wasn’t dreaming. But on the other hand, those who abuse others, get what they deserve.
IW: Anything else you can tell us about her?
Eddie: Nothing that wouldn’t be personal, like the times we spent together. I’ll just keep that to myself. Anyway, I’m going to the casino, try my luck at Black Jack and the slots.
To see if Eddie’s broken heart will mend, check out the book below:
