This is a really great book to use. It gives some really great examples on how to start a book and how to do the inner lives of your characters.Each chapter is an exercise on a different part of creative writing.

Broken into fifteen different sections from beginnings, characterization, dialogue and writer’s tools to name a few. It’s a perfect companion for you if you want some inspiration on how to get things going. Or to take with you when you’e waiting in line at an appointment.
