27 Fiction Writing Blunders Review
Hello and welcome back. Today I am doing a review on the James Scott Bell book 27 Fiction Writing Blunders And How Not To Make Them.
The book is available here:
In the book Bell lists some of the most common blunders or speed bumps that publishers see that cause them to reject a potential project. For the indie author it is also important to avoid the pot holes as readers will likely feel something is “off” and might not finish your book or read another one you write.
Such things as how to avoid letting fear get a foot hold in your writing life. We all get that, he tells how to avoid it. How to avoid info dumps or as he says getting your readers stuck in tar pits.
There would be too many to list here as it would create a longer blog post than you’d have tome to read. But suffice it to say, I highly recommend the book for you to help with your writing.
