Mainstream media is not something you can really trust, they
have this corporate left-wing agenda as though they’re the experts on
everything. They can do no wrong and people like Doug can do no right. The
world was perfect before all these people had to screw it up, everything is
supposed to be best person for the job male or female, black or white or any
other race.
All the self-righteous pricks think they got to tell people how to live. Doug
for the most part just likes to keep a low profile, don’t be the nail that
sticks out or you’ll get hammered down. Why do they always have to pick on
people who only shoot guns for fun? More people die from alcohol and tobacco
than what get killed in Firearms incidents. In fact, there are so many other
things that kill more people than what get killed by someone with a gun.
Doug was also one of the smart people he never advertised the fact that he was
a very skilled metal worker and was able to construct a homemade AR-15 that was
fully functional. And not only that he was able to make his own ammunition. So
really any gun laws would be useless against a guy like him.
He had all his guns, the ones the government didn’t know about hidden in a
stash or rather multiple stashes just in case one was discovered and stolen.
That kept everything safe, there was always something for
him too fall back on. He liked to think he was one step ahead of anyone who
might want to target him. Stashes of survival food and clothing were placed
with his weapons caches.
His retreat was well-stocked and now he just had to wait for people to arrive.
If they did as instructed they would all be here within a week. That is if they
followed his instructions. And if nothing stopped them from getting to the
retreat.
His wife Molly at first humored his obsession with preparedness, and finally
with the collapse she saw how right he was.
